INTRODUCTION

These pages are not designed to teach English to first time students, but as a help to those who already have some knowledge of the language.

Spoken English often differs from written English, and local expressions and dialects can confuse even more. The emphasis is on communication although grammar is discussed.

The Notes and Tests are not exhaustive: more will be added as time permits.

Basic pronunciation, with sound, is available on request.
