France - July ... August 2016

Before going to France I visited the Byfleet Village Day for the first time, in all the time I have been in the village. It was very well attended with quite a few interesting stalls.

Also Carol and Keith's BBQ - courtesy of a lift by car from Sue and Pete's ! Their garden was very attractive.

In France various meals were had, out and in ... including with Jackie and David Heath, to celebrate Sara and Tony's 27th wedding anniversary, at the Chinese Restaurant ( Delice Wok ) where Carys worked in Laval. She later played at La Plage, by the river - also a play area for children.

I went to Bagnoles one evening, with Sara and Tony, to see a Burlesque comedy show, ( Pétrolina and Mascarpone ) which again was well attended.

And to Javron to visit a combined vide grenier, tractor and vintage car display

The last few days were spent mainly watching the Rio Olympics on TV. Although the last Monday evening was spent catching up with Richard and Emma, and Mal and Paul who had adjusted their trip to arrive just before I went back to the UK. The last Tuesday I attended a street party with Jan and Bram, and Brian !
