FRANCE --July 2010

I returned to France with the mpv for five days towards the end of July.

There was no need to cut the grass, the dry, hot weather had just about turned all the grass brown during my two week absence. However I weeded the lawn, which should improve it when the grass returns, and had a general tidy up. The fruit was still looking good.

I decided to get the timber for the second bed frame, and ended up cutting the wood for both the head and foot boards. To prevent warping etc., I dry assembled these ends. Slotting the corner posts, assembly and varnishing will be a job for my next visit.

The first of the open air concerts in Mayenne made a very pleasant evening out.
