FRANCE - MARCH 2005
A visit to France in March enabled me to cut the grass and to start reshaping the garden area. But the main purpose of the visit was to complete the plumbing of the upstairs loo and washbasin, and to press on with finishing the plasterboard lining and initial decoration of the bedroom.

There were many signs of spring about, particularly primroses in the hedgerows and often wild daffodils. Fruit blossoms were starting to emerge and other hedgerow flowers like violets and cellandine were everywhere.

At one stage it was even warm enough for a BBQ, although work was the priority.

At last it is coming together upstairs ..... another visit should see the main work finished, with first decoration ...... and a start made on the rooms in the other house. " Fitting out " i.e. final wood trimming, fitted furnishing and decoration will be left until later.
Sara and Tony received a good write up for their performances in a play and other sketches staged by the local community ... even Bethany managed a curtain call for providing the sound effects in the "Sand dance".
